Bio

Short bio: Namjoo Choi is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Science, College of Communication and Information, University of Kentucky. He received his Ph.D. in Informatics from the University at Albany, State University of New York. His research interests include online communities, free/libre open source software, and technology adoption and post-adoption. His research work has been published in top-tier journals in both library science and information systems fields such as IEEE Software, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Library & Information Science Research, Journal of the Association for Information Systems. He also has received research honors including Outstanding and Highly Commended Paper Awards from Emerald, and Distinguished Dissertation Award from SUNY at Albany.
