Erin Hester is an assistant professor and doctoral candidate in strategic and persuasive communication. She joined UK after working for the Kentucky Department for Public Health on several statewide health and risk prevention campaigns. Erin's research focuses on persuasive communication, specifically using message-based strategic communication to promote a social good. She is specifically interested the influence of message features and audience characteristics on attitude and behavior change, social marketing campaigns, and message-induced affect.
