Dr. Zeadally selected for the IEEE-USA George F. McClure Citation of Honor for Outstanding contributions to Cybersecurity
Sherali Zeadally is an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Sherali Zeadally (Associate Professor, Information Communication Technology) has been named a 2016 recipient of the George F. McClure Citation of Honor for his work in the field of Cybersecurity. The IEEE-USA board of directors recognized Zeadally for his “outstanding research and educational contributions to promote and strengthen cybersecurity awareness in the United States". The Citation of Honor is an IEEE-USA national award recognizing "individuals who have made exemplary contributions toward achieving the aims of professional activities in the United States." Recent past recipients include Dr. Winslow Sargeant who served as Chief Counsel for Advocacy in the US Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy (2010-2015) under President Obama's administration.
