ICT Interns Present Final Poster Projects
Fifteen information communication technology (ICT) students presented their final poster projects for the ICT 596: Internship in ICT course on Monday, April 17 in the Lucille Little Library.The Internship in ICT course aims to provide students an opportunity to participate in services that are a part of a professional ICT program. This is accomplished through supervised work-and-learning experience in a professional environment under the direction of a University faculty member and an employee of a participating firm. All ICT students are required to complete a three-credit internship ICT 596 internship before graduation. One hundred and forty (140) hours of student time are expected during the semester for the internship course. Students are also required to complete multiple academic components in order to receive academic internship credit, including a final poster project. The poster addresses the methods the student used to achieve a solution to a problem or to implement a novel approach in their work environment.
