ICT Spring 2016 Special Events: Come Join Us!
The Information Communication Technology (ICT) program is excited to bring its first semester of professional development workshops and networking events to majors and non-majors in Spring 2016. We aim to parallel what our instructors are teaching in the classroom by providing career prep services, guiding students through the internship and job application process, and helping to secure careers in their chosen tracks of study.

Wednesday, Feb. 10 “Showcase Your Talents: Building a Strong Professional Portfolio,” presented by Brooksource Technical Youth at 11 AM in LCLI 303
Thursday, Feb. 11 “Berlin Information Session,” collaboration with UK Education Abroad and hosted by the ICT student association at 4 PM in LCLI 303
Thursday, Mar. 3 “ICT Speed Networking Night,” at 6 PM in LCLI 303 *Registration deadline: Mar. 1
Wednesday, Mar. 23 “Android App Development Workshop,” led by Awesome, Inc. with opening remarks from Dr. David Nemer, ICT professor, at 9 AM *Application deadline: Mar. 11
Join the ICT program for (free!) workshops on resume-writing, video interviewing, and portfolio development; all led by local hiring professionals. Your ICT instructors join me in recommending that you seriously consider attending these events.
