Yalonda Green (Library Science) Wins Fall 2017 Sarah Rebecca Reed Scholarship from Beta Phi Mu
Yalonda Green is a UK SIS master's student in the Library Science program.
Beta Phi Mu, the International Library and Information Studies Science Honor Society, has released their Fall 2017 Scholarship and Fellowship winners. Among them is Yalonda Green, a Library Science master's candidate at the University of Kentucky School of Information Science (UK SIS). Ms. Green has been awarded the Sarah Rebecca Reed Scholarship which is given annually to up to two beginning library/information studies students in an ALA-accredited program.
Ms. Green has previously been awarded an ALA Spectrum Scholarship, and she is pursuing the Youth Services & Literature concentration in the Library Science program with the goal of working as a youth librarian. UK SIS congratulates Ms. Green on her continued achievement.
