Pizza & Research Seminar: Kim Discusses Scientists' Data-Sharing and Reuse

On wednesday October 14th, Dr. Youngseek Kim (Assistant Professor, Library Science) will be the next presenter in the College of Communication and Information's research seminar series.

Dr. Kim's research presentation is entitled Scientists' Data Sharing and Reuse: A Multilevel Analysis.

Choi and Palmer receive 2015 Highly Commended Paper award from Library Hi-Tech

Dr. Namjoo Choi and alumnus Aaron Palmer received one of the 2015 Highly Commended Paper awards from Library Hi-Tech for their article "The Current State of Library Open Source Software Research: A Descriptive Literature Review and Classification."

Pizza & Research Seminar: Adler Discusses the McCarthy Era Library of Congress on 9/23

On wednesday September 23rd, Dr. Melissa Adler (Assistant Professor, Library Science) will be the next presenter in the College of Communication and Information's research seminar series.

Dr. Adler's research presentation is entitled The Book, the Thief, the Librarian, and His Lover? Collecting Obscenity at the Library of Congress during the McCarthy Era.

Meadows Receives NCA Outstanding Teaching Award

Steve Meadows (Adjunct Professor in Instructional Communication) has received the Marcella E. Oberle Award for Outstanding Teaching from the National Communication Association.

Seungahn Nah Elected President of Korean American Communication Association

Dr. Seungahn Nah (Information Communication Technology) has been appointed President of the Korean American Communication Association (KACA). His term will begin on September 1, 2015.  Dr. Nah previously held the position of Vice President for KACA.
